There’s got to be a way to do it. I’m not sure about signing in to our accounts and commenting, but showing posts should be relatively easy.

I got into Jalopnik with Google Currents.

The best forum software was Kawf which is what the original Audiworld ran on.

Yeah but that was mainly for reading, which is just pulling data from the RSS feed. I’m taking a fully fledged replacement that lets you sign in to your account and comment as well.
Unless Currents did that too.

Unfortunately, Oppo runs on Kinja. :P

It didn’t. Also looks like currents is no more.
Add notifications to your list. I’d love an email or a phone notification when I get a comment.

Yeah it was replaced by Play Newsstand.
And yeah, anything related to the account, like notifications, should be a must. I want to try to learn how to code apps for this app.

I’ve looked into making a chrome extension that would have notifications show up on the tab when you’re on other tabs. Kinda how Facebook does.

Yeah that’d be pretty cool. But too bad Facebook has “live” notifications whereas Kinja only has them when you refresh.

The thing is, Kinja would be awesome if it would just WORK.

This is true. But we’ve had Kinja for nearly 4 years now, according to what is apparently my first ever comment on Kinja, which is on my personal blog for some reason. And it just so happens to be a complaint about Kinja.
4, four, FOUR years to work this out, but nope. Still getting Kinja’d.

I don’t expect it to get better soon...

I was going through the Kinjad tag a few days ago. Damn it was hilarious towards the beginning.

I’d recommend this but guess what.

It’s obvious:
either your mouse driver failed, your mouse unplugged itself, your wireless mouse died, or your phone/tablet/whatever doesn’t work. Definitely no other cause.
